Who We Are

IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

In 2011 Anna Weisenfeld started working at the Miller’s Thumb Gallery where she quickly fell in love with the artists she worked with and the town in which art and creative expression are deeply cherished. In 2018 Anna decided to buy the gallery to continue to bring local art to the community. Her ethos ‘shop local, shop handmade’ which came from her experience working in supporting local artist and their methods of creation is something expressed in the representation of art found at the Millers Thumb. Anna’s mother Amanda (who you may often see at the gallery as well as her incredible felting work) is an artist, so at a young age the value of creative expression was deeply rooted.

Anna continues this each season by bringing works from over 80 local artists together, creating shows, local engagement and bringing the treasures from local artists for others to enjoy!
